Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the 2023 CFG Sales Conference?
Airfare for you and one complimentary guest, one hotel room at The Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa, roundtrip ground transportation between the airport and resort on regular group travel dates, and hosted dinners.
You and your complimentary guest will each receive a gift card to use for other meals and incidentals throughout your stay. Gift cards can be picked up at the Hospitality Desk upon conference check-in and must be signed for by the primary attendee.
CFG will also provide a hospitality suite for complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, and water from 11am to 5pm each day in the Seabridge Room.
What is not included with the 2023 CFG Sales Conference?
Optional items that would be at your expense include airport parking, baggage fees, spa treatments, hotel laundry, pay-per-view movies, in-room beverages or mini-bar purchases, individual activities, childcare, food other than hosted dinners, and the costs for additional guests not covered by your invitation.
What meals are included with the trip?
CFG will host the following dinners:
April 29th - President’s Dinner for President’s Level qualifiers
April 30th - Welcome Dinner
May 2nd - Awards Dinner
May 3rd - Farewell Dinner
Is a passport required to visit Grand Cayman?
Yes, all guests will be required to present a passport to enter Grand Cayman. A copy of each passport must be uploaded during the registration. The passport must be valid at least six months beyond the date of the return ticket.
Will I be required to present a credit card at hotel check-in?
Yes, you will need to present a credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express) at check-in to cover any additional charges for items such as spa treatments, hotel laundry, pay-per-view movies, or childcare.
Is there any restriction on who I can bring as additional guests?
Requests for additional guests must be sent in advance to Karin Benjamin at 1-800-423-9765 x 7448 or Karin.Benjamin@cfglife.com. Additional guests may not include anyone who had the opportunity to qualify for the conference and did not. Columbian reserves the right to determine who may and may not attend the conference.
Is there a limit to the number of people who can stay in one room?
Yes, there is a limit of four people in one room, regardless of age.
Will transportation be provided from the airport to the hotel?
Yes, transportation between the airport and the Kimpton Seafire Resort will be provided for you and your spouse/guest on the date of your scheduled arrival and departure. If you will not be traveling on group dates, you will be responsible for your own transfer arrangements to and/or from the hotel. If you will be extending your visit and staying at a different hotel, you will be responsible for your own transfer to and from that hotel.
What types of transportation are available on the island?
Taxis are available for cash payment only. Uber and Lyft are not available.
What types of cash or credit cards are accepted?
US dollars are accepted, but Cayman dollars are preferred. Any change from cash purchases will be given in Cayman dollars. Many merchants accept MasterCard or Visa credit cards, but not American Express cards.
What is the exchange rate for cash?

Will airline baggage fees be reimbursed?
Baggage fees will not be reimbursed.
Are there hosted activities for spouses/guests included in the trip?
There will be no hosted activities on this trip. You and your guest will have plenty of time to check out the area attractions as you wish. There will be a Hospitality Desk in the Seabridge Room from 7:00am to 5:00pm each day for information and assistance.
Is there a daycare for children available at the resort?
Yes, Camp Seafire is a daycare program offered at The Kimpton Seafire for children ages 5-12. It is available daily by full day (9am-5pm), half day (9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm) or hourly increments. There is an associated cost per child and should be booked as soon as possible.
Two evening sitting options are available: Group babysitting - Requires advanced payment by wire and include a special curated program for the children such as a glow in the dark scavenger hunt. Pricing would be dependent on hours booked and number of kids.
Individual family babysitting -The rate is $45 per hour for one child, $75/hr for 2 children. A 20% service charge is added to the total.
Will there be a hospitality suite for attendees?
CFG will host a hospitality suite for complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks, and water from 11am to 5pm each day in the Seabridge Room.
Is there complimentary Wi-Fi at the hotel?
Free wireless internet is included in all guest rooms at The Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa.
Am I required to attend any meetings/sessions?
Yes, primary invitees are required to attend the General Session. Guests are welcome to join but are not required.
What is the suggested attire?
On-site dining – Resort wear is recommended.
Recreation and free time – Casual or sports attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Presidents Club Dinner and cocktail reception – Resort wear is recommended. Please note that this event will be held outdoors.
